Dreamers

A to Z Challenge
Dreamers.  Well this was a prompt of sorts for the last AtoZ I tried to do.  Now’s a good time to finish since accomplishing the AtoZ challenge is my task for this year.

I am a dreamer.

Hmm. Sounds like a good prompt for a story doesn’t it.  Well, mayhap I will use it one day.  Or perhaps I already have, if the theory of the multi-verse is correct. Been listening to Neil DeGrasse Tyson and his cohort over on YouTube for the past few weeks.  Then, again, I may have come to a completely different conclusion than the one I was supposed to have.

Or mayhap I didn’t change my mind from the conclusion I’d reached when I first heard the term Multi-verse.

T’any rate, I am a dreamer and have been told so many times during my childhood and young adulthood.  Reminds me of the time I first heard “pipe dream” and thought it had something to do with being a Pipe Carrier.  Now, I learned that it has to do with a pipe but not ours.

Being a dreamer has at times saved my sanity and other times has caused me great frustration.  On the whole, dreaming has enriched my life especially after learning to interpret them.

Now, I’m not claiming that I can actively interpret like Jacob did in the Bible.  Nosirree, sir. Or Ma’am.

I can, and do, figure out what certain things mean or could mean and make the best decision I can from those choices I have come up with.

Is that a good approximation of what is meant by the duality of 22?

  1. We all dreamers in a way isn't it. Dreaming always for better!? But I think one must know what is really off limits. Good luck

  2. I've always been a dreamer--of night and day dreams. And like you say, dreaming can be very helpful in getting us through difficult times. When I was in high school and college I often would write down my dreams and became quite good at remembering them. I've lost the knack for that, but I'm sure I could train myself to remember my dreams like I used to.

    1. You might find that you wouldn't have re-train too hard.
